In 1996, he became a resident at the Villa Medici, the French Academy in Rome, and glass was introduced into his work, gradually becoming his preferred material. In 2000, he created a commissioned piece for the RATP at Place Colette in Paris, the "Kiosque des Noctambules," the first in a long series of monumental public artworks. In 2015, he became the first contemporary artist to install permanent works in the gardens of the Château de Versailles. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions both in France and abroad.
